Evening Walk on the Common

Led by the Head Ranger, Nicki Paton. Last year we saw plenty of Nightjars and a Hobby put in a fleeting apprearance, we also went off the beaten track to see a few rare plants that only thrive in this unique habitat.  Meet at The Tythings car park at 7.45pm for the Yela Bus to chauffeur you to Castle Bottom. Cost £2/person, payable on the walk, maximum 20 people. Bring a torch and wear sturdy shoes and midge repellent. If you are driving to Castle Bottom, please car share as parking is very limited (2/3 cars max), and muddy at the Cooper’s Hill entrance. Places need to be booked in advance.
