The Society is a registered with Civic Voice and is a charity (Registered charity number 282397) with its constitution approved by the Charity Commissioners. As a local amenity society our constitution clearly sets out our basic aims:
(a) To provide information to the public on the history, natural history, architecture and geography of Yateley,
(b) to promote the preservation, protection and enhancement of features of historic or public interest,
(c) to encourage high standards of planning and architecture,
(d) and to secure the enhancement of the biological diversity of the ecosystems, the conservation of the natural and semi-natural habitats, and the protection of the characteristic fauna and flora within the area of benefit”
